Volunteer Information

Event Volunteer Sign Up

Memphis Empty Bowls Project has volunteer opportunities available during our annual fundraiser. Check back for information on opportunities to be involved!

Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions.

Thank you for helping us fight hunger in the Mid-South!

How to Sign Up

We're using a Memphis-based system, Volunteer Odyssey's Volunteer Compass, to organize this year's volunteers. Here’s how it works in 3 easy steps:

1. Sign up to Volunteer Here. Click the green "Register" button in the top, right corner. Sign up and click "Create Account."

2. Review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like.

3.  Be sure to include your t-shirt size. All volunteers will receive a complimentary Memphis Empty Bowls Project t-shirt to wear at the event!

If you prefer not to sign up via the website, no problem! Simply email [email protected] with your name and phone number. We'll give you a call and, after reviewing the available volunteer options with you, we can sign you up manually.

Planning Committee Opportunities

Are you interested in helping plan and shape the next Memphis Empty Bowls Project event?

It is an exciting time to jump in. As our feeding program continues to grow and thrive, we're rebooting our fundraising event to work in this year's new venue, Crosstown Concourse. We're looking for individuals to help with event planning, social media support, fundraising efforts, administrative work, marketing, graphic design, and more.

Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions.

The Memphis Empty Bowls Project would not be possible without the help of our volunteers. We are grateful for the individuals and organizations for their service in helping combine community, creativity, and compassion to fight hunger in the Mid-South.
